Good to know
Immerse yourself in local living by staying in one of Chicago’s historic homes! Dating back to 1880, our home provides an authentic glimpse into the 19th-century Italian-American community.
Nestled within walking or biking distance of downtown Chicago, this neighborhood seamlessly blends small-town charm with the excitement of a big city. Little Italy/University Village stands as a living testament to Chicago’s Italian-American heritage, boasting homes, eateries, and shops that have been integral to the community for generations. The area also hosts the University of Illinois at Chicago, infusing it with youthful vibrancy. Just a block away from Taylor Street—the neighborhood’s beating heart—you’ll discover longstanding restaurants, delis, and global favorites like Starbucks. Whether you’re savoring homemade lasagna, indulging in freshly baked bread, or relishing classic dishes at a white-tablecloth establishment, Little Italy offers a rich culinary experience.
Our beautiful top-floor unit, featuring two bedrooms and one bathroom, has undergone recent renovations while retaining the allure of an older Italian-American home. Majestic windows overlook the front patio, and a private rooftop deck awaits your enjoyment. Original hardwood floors, along with air conditioning and heating, ensure a comfortable stay. The space is meticulously clean and filled with natural light, providing everything you need for a delightful visit.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favorite meals, complete with stainless steel appliances and a Keurig coffee station stocked with cream and sugar. A ceiling fan with adjustable speeds ensures optimal comfort.
